How I Push Technology Forward With Racing
As a way of introducing one of my far too many and expensive hobbies, Motorcycle Racing! I've been riding motorcycles for about 2 years now, and this year will be my last year before I embark into proffessional motorcycle racing. There are many challenges that go into this sport, and alot of risks. As such, part of my preparation for this being the last year before I make my debut, is developing the technology needed to suit my particular needs and tastes to help push me even faster.
How Does this Relate?
Technology is a huge part of my particular approach to racing, as it not only increases the safety and reduces the chances of injury when I do inevitably crash, but it also helps to prevent me from crashing as well. Technology like autonomous airbags, onboard data recording, as well as information displayed to me so that I can adjust my strategies and aggressiveness depending on parameters like tire temperature, brake temperature, current pace, and lap data. All of these things help to push me towards not only a victory, but also a safe return to my family after I win.
Project Objectives:
- Build A Mechanically reliable platform tuned to my needs and tastes
- Provide protection whenever the innevitable crash at over a 100mph happens via Wearable Airbag systems.
- Onboard Data computer that collects all possible data points for sake of Pre,During, and Post race anaylsis, such as telling me when my tires are up to temperature, the sensor data leading up to a crash, or lap timings and how far above/bellow pace I may be.

Airbag Technology Example Data Telemetry systems, however I will develop my own. The Racing league I will eventually join once I rank out of the local feeder races.
